Three simple steps on how to be Biblically Saved:
1. Admit that you have sinned against God and ask Him for forgiveness.
If you haven't been saved, nothing you can do on your own will be good enough to have your sins forgiven. If your sins aren't forgiven, the Bible says that you are saved by grace and not by anything you do on your own. If your name isn't in the book of life, you will be cast into the lake of fire (eternal death).
Romans 3:23 says,"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
Ephesians 2:8,9 Explains why nothing we do on our own will save us from the consequences of our sins,
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, least any man should boast."
Romans 6:23 states, "The wages of sin is death but the gift of eternal life is received only through Jesus Christ."
2. Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, died for our sins on the cross, rose from the dead and is Lord.
Luke 3:21,22Tells us who Jesus is, "...Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased."
John 1:1-3, 1:14Describes Jesus as part of the Triune Godhead from the beginning.
Romans 5:8 States that Jesus died for us.
Matthew 28:5,6 Tells of the angel of the Lord telling Mary Magdalene and the other Mary that Christ has risen.
John 14:6 Jesus clearly explains to Thomas that he is Lord (the way) by saying,
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
3. Ask Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Saviour
Romans 10:9-11 tells us specifically how,
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed."
